I’ve worked in HR for over 20 years and in the voluntary sector for around 18 years. Setting up an HR Service for the voluntary sector has been an ambition for SCVO and myself for some time and we are very happy to be able to offer our sector quality HR support and advice for a reasonable cost.
I'm a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, I’m proud to be a long-standing member of the HR Voluntary Sector Forum (a network of HR professionals) and more recently joining the Living Wage Scotland Leadership Group. I’ve worked with SCVO for just over two years, and I absolutely love it. Before that, I developed my HR experience within the retail sector, where I also got my CIPD qualification. I’m passionate about making HR more progressive and accessible for all.

I started my career in financial services but soon realised that it wasn’t for me. I love helping people so when a role in HR came up, I decided to go for it and haven’t looked back! I’ve worked in HR for 20 years and for SCVO for over four years.
